Dryer ball specs

My dryer balls are 100% wool from outer to core. I use no fillers! The majority of my dryer ball cores are made from Merino, Cashmere or Lambswool. My dryer balls are 'upcycled' rather than wasting virgin wool.

Weight is more important than size in dryer balls. If a ball is too heavy it can damage the dryer, sensors or pop open your dryer door mid cycle. Circumference is less important. A large size ball may not be well felted or wrapped too loosely which will cause it to fall apart. Avoid dryer balls that refuse to disclose the weight of their balls. My dryer balls average 3 ounces which is a good weight, heavy enough to separate your clothes, light enough to avoid dryer damage.

I felt my dryer balls three times. I felt at each 'layer' so I wrap the cores and felt them, I wrap the middle layer and I felt them again, I wrap the outers and felt them the third time. This process makes for a solid dryer ball that holds together and lasts a long time.
